Equipment
  • 1 Wok or large skillet
  • 1 bowl
Ingredients

  • 8 oz rice noodles
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 cups fresh shiitake mushrooms sliced into 1-inch pieces
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup chicken stock
  • 1/4 cup original stir fry sauce
  • 2-3 green onions sliced
  • salt
Instructions

  • Cook the rice noodles according to the package instructions.
Once done, rinse them with cold water to stop the cooking process.
Toss the noodles with a bit of vegetable oil or butter to prevent sticking.
  • In a large skillet or wok, heat the unsalted butter over medium heat.
Add the shiitake mushrooms to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes until they become golden brown, stirring occasionally.
  • Once the mushrooms have reached the desired color, add the minced fresh garlic to the skillet.
Sauté the garlic for 1-2 minutes until it becomes fragrant.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the chicken stock and stir fry sauce.
Set this mixture aside for later use.
  • Pour the sauce ingredients into the skillet with the mushrooms and garlic.
Let the mixture simmer for 2-3 minutes over medium heat, making sure to stir constantly for even cooking.
  • Place the prepared rice noodles into the skillet and toss them gently with the mushroom and sauce mixture until they are well coated.
  • Season the dish with a pinch of salt, if desired, and give it a final stir.
Add the sliced green onions as a garnish, and your Yard House Shiitake Garlic Noodles are ready to serve!
