Texas Roadhouse Ribs Recipe

The key to achieving tender ribs is a slow baking process, which lets the flavors really soak in.
Don’t forget to remove the membrane on the back of the ribs; it makes a real difference in texture.
Using a mix of whiskey and pineapple in the sauce gives them an unexpected and delightful kick.

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs Pork Ribs
  • 3 tbsp Paprika
  • 1 tbsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tbsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Salt
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 tsp Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1 cup BBQ Sauce
Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 275°F.
  • This low and slow cooking temperature ensures that your ribs will be tender.
  • Prep the ribs by removing the membrane.
  • Use a knife to lift the edge, then pull it off.
  • This step is essential for ensuring that the flavors penetrate the meat.
  • Combine paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, salt, brown sugar, chili powder, and cumin in a bowl to make your dry rub.
  • Mix well.
  • Rub the seasoning mixture generously over both sides of the ribs, making sure they’re well coated.
  • This will be the flavor foundation of your dish.
  • Place the ribs on a wire rack in a large baking dish.
  • Cover them with foil and bake for 3.5 hours.
  • This process will make them beautifully tender.
  • Remove the foil, increase the oven temperature to 350°F, and brush the ribs with BBQ sauce.
  • Cook for an additional 20 minutes until the sauce is sticky.
