- 2 cups Pickle Slices
- 1 cup Flour
- 1 tbsp Cajun Seasoning
- 1 tsp Oregano
- 1 tsp Basil
- 1 tsp Cayenne Pepper
- 1 cup Buttermilk
- 1 cup Cornmeal
- Vegetable Oil for frying
Mix together the flour, Cajun seasoning, oregano, basil, and cayenne pepper in a large bowl.
Pour the buttermilk into a separate bowl.
Dip each pickle slice into the flour mixture, then into the buttermilk, and back into the flour mixture. Ensure each pickle is well-coated.
Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F.
Fry the pickles in batches for about 2-3 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy.
