  • 2 cups Pickle Slices
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 1 tbsp Cajun Seasoning
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • 1 tsp Basil
  • 1 tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 cup Buttermilk
  • 1 cup Cornmeal
  • Vegetable Oil for frying

  • Mix together the flour, Cajun seasoning, oregano, basil, and cayenne pepper in a large bowl.
  • Pour the buttermilk into a separate bowl.
  • Dip each pickle slice into the flour mixture, then into the buttermilk, and back into the flour mixture. Ensure each pickle is well-coated.
  • Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F.
  • Fry the pickles in batches for about 2-3 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy.
  • Remove the fried pickles from the oil and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess oil.
  • Serve warm with a side of ranch dressing for dipping.
