  • ½ pound chopped mangoes
  • ½ pound chopped pineapples
  • ½ pound chopped strawberries
  • ¼ cup orange juice
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup

  • Add the liquids. The best way to get a good texture is to add the liquid ingredients first. Start pouring the orange juice and maple syrup into the blender. Give it a quick pulse so they combine well.
  • Add the frozen fruit. Fruits always go after the liquid, so next add the mango chunks, strawberries, and pineapple pieces to the blender. The secret here is to let the frozen fruits sit at room temperature for 10-15 minutes before you get started. This will make them blend better. Note: add some ice cubes to your preference, to make a more chilled smoothie. Blend on low and then high speed until it’s smooth and creamy. To adjust the texture, add some more of the orange juice or the fruits. But if it still turns out thinner than you expected, just blend in a banana. It works every time.
  • Pour your Sunrise Sunset Smoothie into a glass and serve garnished with fresh mango chunks, pineapple, or strawberries. Protip: chill the serving glasses before pouring the smoothie. This trick will help you keep the smoothie thick and fresh for longer. Just put the glass into the fridge while you’re making the smoothie. They will be perfectly chilled once you finish.
