Subway Oatmeal Raisin Cookie Recipe

These cookies turn out soft, chewy, and packed with cinnamon, just like the ones from Subway!
A mix of butter and brown sugar is what gives them that rich, slightly caramelized texture.
Using old-fashioned oats instead of quick oats makes a big difference in texture—they stay chewy instead of turning mushy.
I also soak the raisins in warm water before mixing them in so they stay plump and don’t dry out in the oven.
They bake up slightly crisp around the edges while staying soft in the middle, which is exactly what makes them so good.
For extra texture, I sometimes throw in chopped walnuts, which balance the sweetness of the raisins really well.

  • 2 cups All-purpose Flour
  • ½ tsp Iodized Salt
  • ½ tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 tbsp Cinnamon ground
  • ½ cup Raisins
  • ½ cup Rolled Oats
  • ¾ cup Butter unsalted
  • 1 cup White Sugar granulated
  • ¾ cup Brown Sugar
  • ½ cup Whole Milk
  • 2 Eggs whole
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla Extract

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit to ensure even baking for the cookies.
  • In a bowl, combine all-purpose flour, iodized salt, baking soda, and ground cinnamon, then set aside for later.
  • Cream the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar together until the mixture becomes smooth.
  • Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition, followed by vanilla extract and milk.
  • Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, and then fold in the rolled oats and raisins until just combined.
