Ingredients
  
  • 16 oz. imitation crab, finely chopped or 2 crab legs
  • 2 cups mayonnaise Dukes preferred
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese grated
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese grated
  • 1 loaf of hoagie or dense bread
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • ¼ cup chopped green onions
  • ¼ cup chopped bell peppers
  • ¼ cup diced celery
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Creole seasoning for garnish (optional)
Instructions
 
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Start by slicing the loaf of hoagie or dense bread in half, lengthwise, creating a top and bottom half.
    Then, hollow out the center of each half to create a slight indentation where the bread component can house the seafood filling.
  •  In a large mixing bowl, add the finely chopped crab, seafood mix, mayonnaise, grated cheddar, grated mozzarella, minced garlic, onion powder, cayenne pepper, chopped green onions, chopped bell peppers, diced celery, Old Bay seasoning, lemon juice, and salt and pepper.
    Mix the ingredients until they are well combined.
