Ingredients
  
  • 8 oz Imitation crab meat lump crab meat, or fresh crab meat
  • 8 oz medium shrimp peeled, deveined, and cooked
  • 1 cup cooked pasta such as macaroni or pasta shells
  • 1/2 cup green onions sliced
  • 1/4 cup sweet relish
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice about 1 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill chopped
  • 1 teaspoon bay seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • black olives, salad shrimp, salad veggies (such as cucumber, bell pepper, or tomatoes) Optional
Instructions
 
  • If using an Imitation crab, shred it into bite-sized pieces.
    If using fresh or lump crab meat, break it up gently into small chunks.
    Rinse the cooked shrimp and remove any tails.
    Cook the pasta according to package instructions, then rinse and drain it.
  • In a large mixing bowl, add the crab meat, shrimp, and cooked pasta.
    Toss gently to combine.
    To the seafood and pasta mixture, add green onions, sweet relish, lemon juice, and fresh dill.
    Stir gently to distribute the ingredients evenly.
  • In a smaller mixing bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, bay seasoning, black pepper, and kosher salt until smooth.
    Pour the creamy dressing over the seafood and pasta mixture.
    Fold gently to coat all of the ingredients evenly.
  • At this point, you can add any optional ingredients such as black olives, additional salad shrimp, or extra salad vegetables.
    Cover the salad and refrigerate it for at least one hour to allow the flavors to meld.
    When you're ready to serve, give the salad a quick stir and enjoy!
