Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1/2 cup All-purpose Flour
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 cup Cheese shredded
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  • This is the magic temperature for a perfectly cooked pie!
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add the ground beef, chopped onion, and salt.
  • Cook until the beef is browned and crumbly and the onions are soft.
  • Drain the excess fat from the pan to avoid a greasy pie.
  • Sprinkle in garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  • Add Worcestershire sauce and cook for another 2 minutes.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the milk, flour, eggs, and baking powder.
  • You want this mixture to be smooth and lump-free.
  • Pour the beef mixture into a greased 9-inch pie plate, then top with cheese.
  • Pour your milk mixture evenly over the top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and set.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.
