Alice Springs Chicken from Outback Steakhouse is a version like no other. This dish is SO delish, guys!
The recipe combines juicy chicken breasts with sweet honey mustard, crispy bacon, and melted cheese.
Don't forget the mushrooms—they add an amazing depth of flavor!
I've found that marinating the chicken in honey mustard for a few hours makes a BIG diff in the overall taste.

Ingredients
  
  • 4 Chicken Breasts boneless, skinless
  • 1 cup Honey Mustard
  • 2 tsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 8 slices Bacon cooked
  • 1 cup Mushrooms sliced
  • 2 cups Monterey Jack Cheese shredded
  • 2 cups Cheddar Cheese shredded
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions
 
  • Combine honey mustard, lemon juice, and olive oil.
  • Marinate chicken in this mixture for at least 30 minutes.
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cook the bacon until crispy, then set aside.
  • In a large skillet, lightly cook the chicken breasts over medium heat for about 5 minutes per side.
  • Remove from the skillet and place them in a baking dish.
  • Layer sliced mushrooms over each chicken breast.
  • Top with bacon strips, then cover with both cheeses.
  • Bake in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes until the cheese has melted and the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
