Ingredients

  • 1 English Muffin split
  • 1 Pork Sausage Patty 2 oz.
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 1 slice American Cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • Black Pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp Butter for frying
Instructions

  • Toast the English muffin halves until golden brown.
  • This will give the perfect crunch and base for your sandwich.
  • Shape the sausage meat into a round patty.
  • Season it with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  • In a skillet, melt some butter over medium heat.
  • Cook the sausage patty until it’s nicely browned and cooked through.
  • In the same pan, crack an egg into an egg ring or a small lid to achieve that round shape.
  • Cook until the white is set and the yolk is slightly runny or cooked through, as you prefer.
  • Assemble your McMuffin by starting with one half of the English muffin.
  • Add the cheese, then the sausage patty, followed by the cooked egg and the other half of the muffin.
