McDonald's Cookie Dough McFlurry Recipe
Thick, creamy, and packed with cookie dough chunks—this homemade McDonald’s Cookie Dough McFlurry is just as good as the original!Getting the ice cream texture right is the most important part. Soft serve is ideal, but if you’re using regular ice cream, letting it sit for a few minutes makes blending easier. For the cookie dough, I like to use homemade edible dough since it has that soft-firm feel.Chopping chocolate into small pieces instead of using chips makes for a smoother mix-in that blends better with the ice cream. This McFlurry has that same rich, creamy texture you expect, so let's get to makin' this ASAP!
Prep Time 10 minutes mins
Total Time 10 minutes mins
- 2 cups Vanilla Ice Cream
- 1/4 cup Milk
- 1/3 cup Cookie Dough bites or chopped
- 1/4 cup Mini Chocolate Chips
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 2 tbsp Whipped Cream optional
Scoop the vanilla ice cream into a blender or food processor.
This will be your base for the McFlurry.
Add milk and vanilla extract to the blender.
Blend until it's smooth and creamy.
Stir in the cookie dough pieces and chocolate chips using a spatula.
You want an even distribution throughout the ice cream.
Spoon the mixture into servings cups.
If you love a touch of extra sweetness, top with a dollop of whipped cream!
Place the serving cups in the freezer for 10 minutes.
This firms up the McFlurry, so it's just the right texture.
