Longhorn Rolls Recipe

You’ll love how approachable this recipe is, requiring simple ingredients like flour, yeast, milk, and honey that you probably already have at home.
To achieve that perfectly soft texture, make sure to let the dough rise until it doubles in size; patience here is key.
Enjoying these rolls warm out of the oven with a smear of butter is a delight you won’t want to miss!

  • 1 cup Warm Water
  • 1 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 1/3 cup Honey
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 cup Rolled Oats
  • 2 1/3 cups Bread Flour
  • 1 tsp Active Dry Yeast

  • Dissolve the yeast in the mixture, and let it sit until foamy.
  • Add the rolled oats and bread flour to the yeast mixture.
  • Stir to form a soft dough, then knead until smooth and elastic.
