- Start by placing the cooked chickpeas in your food processor. 
- Blend them alone for about a minute to achieve a smoother texture in your final product. 
- Add the tahini, lemon juice, and minced garlic to the processor. 
- Blend these ingredients together for another couple of minutes until fully integrated. 
- Incorporate the olive oil and chopped jalapeno into the mix. 
- Blend again until smooth and creamy. 
- Taste your hummus and adjust salt as needed. 
- Blend once more to make sure it's well-mixed. 
- Transfer your hummus to a bowl and drizzle with a bit more olive oil before serving. 
- Serve with pita bread or vegetables.
