cracker barrel lima beans recipe

Cracker Barrel Lima Beans Recipe

There’s a reason Cracker Barrel’s lima beans are so memorable—they’re savory, hearty, and downright delish!
The slow-simmered flavor is the real star here, with a rich broth that makes every bite AMAZING.
I like to start with frozen or dried lima beans because they hold their shape and texture during cooking.
One step that makes all the difference is simmering the beans with smoky bacon or ham hocks—it adds an incredible flavor.
Make sure to season as you go, especially with salt and pepper, to bring out the natural flavors of the beans.
Oh yeah, and a little onion and garlic in the pot go a long way to enhance the overall taste.
