Preheat your oven to 350°F.
In a small bowl, mix flour, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Coat diced chicken pieces in the seasoned flour.
Heat a skillet over medium heat and add vegetable oil.
Add the chicken to the skillet and cook until the pieces are golden brown.
Remove chicken and set it aside.
In the same skillet, add 1 tablespoon of butter and sauté mixed vegetables until tender.
Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring well.
Return chicken to the skillet and simmer for a few minutes.
Meanwhile, prepare the biscuit dough by combining the biscuit mix, buttermilk, and 2 tablespoons of butter.
Drop spoonfuls onto a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden.
