  • 1 separate skillet
Ingredients
  
  • 1 Onion
  • 3 Sticks of Celery
  • 1 Bell Pepper
  • 2 Sticks of Salted Butter
  • 4 Cloves of Garlic
  • 2 12oz Packs of Fettuccini Noodles
  • 1 Teaspoon of Salt
  • 1 10 oz Can Rotel
  • 1 10 oz Can of Cream Chicken Soup
  • 1 14.5 oz Chicken Broth
  • 1 Quart of Half & Half
  • 1 16oz Block Jalapeño Velveeta
  • Oil
  • 1 pound medium-sized shrimp
  • Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
 
  • Prepare the vegetables: Finely chop the onion, celery, and bell pepper.
    Mince the garlic cloves.
  • Cook the pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil.
    Add the fettuccine noodles and cook according to package instructions.
    Drain and set aside. 
  • Prepare the shrimp: Peel and devein the shrimp if needed.
    Rinse under cold water and pat dry with a paper towel. 
  • Sauté the vegetables: In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the two sticks of salted butter.
    Add the chopped onion, celery, bell pepper, and minced garlic.
    Cook until the vegetables become tender, stirring occasionally.
  • Add other ingredients: Once the vegetables are tender, add the can of Rotel, cream of chicken soup, and chicken broth to the skillet.
    Stir well to combine.
  • Add dairy: Slowly mix in the half & half and the block of Jalapeño Velveeta, stirring until the cheese has melted and the sauce is smooth.
    Cook the shrimp: In a separate skillet, heat some oil over medium heat.
    Add the shrimp and cook until pink and cooked through.
    Remove from heat.
  • Combine: Add the cooked shrimp and fettuccine noodles to the skillet with the sauce.
    Stir well to coat the noodles and shrimp in the sauce.
    Cook on low heat for an additional 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  • Garnish and serve: Finally, garnish the Cajun Ninja Shrimp Fettuccine with some fresh parsley.
