Equipment
  • pot
  • blender
  • Sterilized bottle
Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 2 tbsp hot paprika
  • 2 tbsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar (optional)
Instructions

  • Add all of the ingredients to a pot and bring to boil at medium heat. Let it simmer for about 1 minute.
  • Take the pot off the stove and let it cool for about 4-5 minutes, but not completely.
  • Pour the mixture into a blender and blend for about 1-2 minutes at high speed until well combined.
  • Pour the Valentina Hot Sauce into a sterilized bottle and cover it with an airtight lid. An authentic Mexican hot sauce is ready. Wasn’t it too easy? Protip: let the sauce rest for a few hours or, even better, leave it overnight. The sauce will have a better texture and consistency the next day.
