Ingredients
  
For the Truffle Honey Chicken:
  • 1-2 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp truffle honey
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Neutral oil for frying (e.g., vegetable oil)
For the Roasted Asparagus:
  • 1 bunch of trimmed asparagus spears
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp sea salt
Instructions
 
  • Cook the asparagus. Preheat an oven to 425°F and place the asparagus spears in a bowl. Drizzle with olive oil, season, and toss. 
    Then lay the asparagus on a baking sheet in a single layer and bake for about 12-15 minutes
  • While the asparagus is baking, you can work with the chicken. Wrap the chicken breast with plastic wrap and pound lightly on each side with the rolling pin or meat mallet. 
  • Add flour, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper to a plastic bag and shake it well
    Pour the buttermilk into a shallow bowl and dip the chicken in it. Then place the chicken breasts in a bag with the seasoned flour and shake until all pieces are coated evenly.
  • Take a large skillet and add enough oil to cover a third of the surface. Heat the oil until very hot, and place the chicken breasts in a skillet to brown each side.
  • Cover the skillet with a lid and cook the chicken for about 10 minutes on low heat. Remove the lid and raise the heat. Continue frying the chicken until crispy. 
    Once the chicken is cooked thoroughly, place it on a plate lined with paper towels.
  • Place the mashed potatoes on a plate first, then place the chicken on top and the asparagus beside it. Finish by drizzling everything with a generous amount of truffle hoy.
    Your restaurant-style gourmet dinner is ready to be served.
