Ingredients
  
  • 4 medium Roma tomatoes finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup yellow onion finely diced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro chopped
  • 1 small jalapeño finely diced (seeds removed for less heat)
  • 2 teaspoons white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt adjust to taste
  • 1/8 teaspoon cumin optional for added depth
Instructions
 
  • Chop the tomatoes, onion, cilantro, and jalapeño into small, uniform pieces for a smooth salsa texture.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the tomatoes, onion, cilantro, and jalapeño. Stir well to incorporate.
  • Add the white vinegar, lime juice, sugar, garlic powder, salt, and cumin (if using). Mix thoroughly.
  • Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
  • Taste and adjust salt, lime juice, or vinegar as needed. Serve with breakfast tacos, burritos, or eggs for a tangy, flavorful addition.
