For the Cake- Mashed bananas
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup whole milk
- ¼ cup sour cream
- ½ cup melted salted butter
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp of vanilla extract
- 1 cup of granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp sea salt
- 1 tbsp of baking soda
- ½ tbsp of cinnamon powder
For the Frosting- 4 ounces of cream cheese
- 3/4 cup softened butter
- ½ tbsp of vanilla extract
- 2 cups of powdered sugar
Preheat an oven to 345°F and grease a 9x9-inch baking tin.
Add flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and sea salt in a medium mixing bowl, mix well and set aside.
Mix melted butter, vanilla, and mashed banana in another larger bowl. Then add sugar to this mixture and stir until it dissolves.
Add sour cream, whole milk, and eggs to the banana mixture and mix. Finally, pour the drive ingredients we've mixed before into the medium bowl and mix until the batter is formed. Pour the banana batter into the greased baking tin and bake for about 40-45 minutes. Check if it's ready with the toothpick. It should come out clean. Leave your cake to cool.
Beat 4 ounces of cheese and ¼ cup of butter in a bowl until it's creamy. Then add vanilla extract and 2 cups of powdered sugar. Beat the frosting until you get a smooth consistency; after the banana cake is cool, spread the sweet icing on top of the cake and enjoy.
