  • 16 oz San Giorgio Lasagna noodles uncooked
  • 3 cups spaghetti sauce
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • ½ tbsp olive oil

  • Begin by preparing the San Giorgio Lasagna noodles according to package directions.
    Once cooked, lay them flat on a surface to cool.
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
    In a large skillet, add the ground beef and cook over medium heat until browned.
    Drain any excess fat.
    Stir in the spaghetti sauce and simmer the mixture for about 10 minutes.
  • In a medium-sized bowl, mix together the ricotta cheese, 1-1/2 cups of mozzarella cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, eggs, fresh parsley, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  • Start by spreading a thin layer of tomato sauce on the bottom of a 13x9-inch glass baking dish.
    Next, arrange a layer of cooked lasagna noodles, followed by a layer of the ricotta cheese mixture.
    Pour a cup of the meat sauce over the cheese mixture, spreading it evenly.
  • Continue layering pasta, cheese mixture, and meat sauce until you've used all of your ingredients.
    Be sure to finish with a layer of pasta topped with tomato sauce.
    Finally, sprinkle the remaining ½ cup of mozzarella cheese over the top.
  • Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and place it in the oven.
    Bake for approximately 45-60 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  • Remove the lasagna from the oven and rest for about 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving.
