Preheat your oven to 300°F.
Season the ribs with salt and pepper on both sides.
Cover them with aluminum foil and bake for 2 hours.
Combine hoisin sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger in a saucepan over medium heat.
Stir frequently for 8 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Heat vegetable oil in a large pan to 375°F.
Remove ribs from the oven and let them cool slightly.
Then deep fry ribs in hot oil for 2-3 minutes until they are crispy.
Toss the fried ribs in the sauce until evenly coated.
Sprinkle sesame seeds over the top.
Don't forget to toss well so each rib gets a good coating of the sauce.
Arrange the ribs on a serving platter.
Serve hot for maximum flavor.
