Gordon Ramsay Meatball Recipe

A dash of herbs and a sprinkle of breadcrumbs bring out flavors that make these meatballs tender and juicy.
One thing I’ve learned is to mix the ingredients gently to keep the meatballs light.
The highlight for me is pairing them with a homemade tomato sauce.
Don’t forget to add fresh basil and oregano to your sauce for that authentic Italian flair.

Ingredients
  
  • 1 lb. Beef ground
  • 1 lb. Pork ground
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • 1 Onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin
  • 1/2 tsp Dried Chili Flakes
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 can Tomatoes 32 oz.
  • 1 Red Pepper sliced
Instructions
 
  • Start by mixing the beef and pork in a bowl.
  • Add salt, pepper, breadcrumbs soaked in milk, chopped onion, garlic, cumin, and chili flakes.
  • Combine thoroughly.
  • Shape the meat mixture into balls of equal size.
  • Your hands will work perfectly for this task.
  • Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Cook the meatballs until browned on all sides, then remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add the remaining olive oil.
  • Sauté diced shallots, garlic, and red pepper until soft.
  • Pour in the canned tomatoes and bring to a simmer.
  • Add the meatballs back and let everything cook together.
  • Let the flavors blend for about 30 minutes.
