Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F and lightly grease an 8x8 baking pan.
In a bowl, whisk together the milk, melted butter, self-rising flour, sugar, and half the cinnamon until smooth.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly.
In another bowl, mix the drained peach slices with the remaining cinnamon and nutmeg.
Gently place the peach mixture over the batter without stirring.
Bake for 45 minutes, ensuring the batter rises up around the peach slices.
Remove from oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
