Chick-Fil-A Grilled Chicken Nuggets Recipe

Juicy, smoky, and seasoned just right—these grilled chicken nuggets taste just like Chick-fil-A’s.
The key step is the marinade, and skipping it will leave you with nuggets that just don’t have the right texture.
I like to use a cast iron skillet to get those little browned edges without overcooking the inside.
If you want them extra tender, pound the chicken pieces slightly before marinating to help them soak up more flavor.
For a little extra char, let them sit untouched in the pan for about a minute before flipping!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • 1/4 cup Pickle Juice
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Paprika
Instructions

  • Cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces for quicker marination and even cooking.
  • Combine the pickle juice and milk in a bowl. Let the chicken marinate in this mixture for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  • Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium heat.
  • Coat the grates or pan lightly with olive oil to prevent sticking.
  • Remove the chicken from the marinade and pat it dry with paper towels.
  • Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  • Grill the chicken pieces for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and grill marks appear.
