Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
Heat a large oven-proof pot over medium heat.
Add the diced bacon to the pot.
Cook until it begins to render fat and turn crispy.
Stir in the chopped onion, red pepper, and minced garlic.
Sauté for about 2 minutes or until they soften.
Mix in the brisket, brown sugar, mustard, molasses, BBQ sauce, salt, and black pepper.
Combine thoroughly with the sautéed mixture.
Add the pork & beans to the pot.
Stir well, then transfer to your preheated oven.
Bake for 1 hour, stirring halfway through.
