Applebee's Boneless Wings Recipe

You'll be delighted with how easy and fun it is to recreate these tasty bites at home.
Start by mixing up a seasoned flour blend with paprika, cayenne pepper, and salt.
Dip your chicken pieces in a milk and egg mixture before coating them in the flour blend.
My favorite trick is to double dip for extra crispy wings: flour, milk, then flour again!
Fry them until they're golden brown, and don't forget to prepare the tangy BBQ sauce for that authentic flavor.

Ingredients
  
  • 2 lbs Chicken Breasts
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 cup Hot Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • Vegetable Oil for frying

  • Trim the fat from the chicken breasts and cut each into 1-inch chunks.
  • In a medium bowl, combine flour, salt, black pepper, paprika, and cayenne pepper.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk and egg.
  • Dip each chicken piece into the milk mixture, allowing any excess to drip off.
  • Coat the chicken pieces in the flour mixture, ensuring they are evenly covered.
  • Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F.
  • Fry the chicken pieces in batches for about 5 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Drain on paper towels.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine hot sauce, butter, and garlic powder. Heat in microwave for about 20 seconds and stir well.
  • Toss the fried chicken pieces in the sauce until they are well-coated.
