  • 1/2 cup Dark Rum
  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar

  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Dijon Mustard
  • 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Liquid Smoke
  • 1 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 1 clove Garlic minced
  • 1 Scotch Bonnet Pepper crushed

  • In a saucepan over medium heat, combine all the ingredients.
  • Stir regularly to blend them together.
  • Bring the mixture to a simmer, then lower the heat to a gentle simmer.
  • Allow it to cook for about 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Let the sauce thicken to your desired consistency, then remove it from heat.
  • Give it a taste and adjust any flavors as needed.
  • Once cooled slightly, store the sauce in a sealed container and refrigerate it until you’re ready to use it.
