Ingredients
  
  • 4 cups Flour
  • 2 ¼ tsp Active Dry Yeast
  • 1 cup Warm Milk
  • ¼ cup Sugar
  • 3 tbsp Butter melted
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Butter for topping
  • Honey Cinnamon Butter optional for serving
Instructions
 
  • Mix the warm milk and active dry yeast in a bowl.
  • Let it sit for 5 minutes until it gets foamy.
  • Add the sugar, melted butter, egg, and salt to the yeast mixture.
  • Stir until well combined.
  • Gradually add the flour, one cup at a time, mixing until the dough forms.
  • Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  • Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1-2 hours or until it doubles in size.
  • Cut it into even squares.
  • Place the squares on a greased baking sheet and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  • Bake the biscuits for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Brush the tops with melted butter as soon as they come out of the oven.
