McDonalds Sausage Patty Recipe

Let me tell you, using a blend of sage, thyme, and onion powder can really capture that iconic taste everyone loves.
And here’s a little tip: opting for lean pork mince can make for a healthier version without sacrificing flavor!
I love how straightforward this recipe is, and it’s amazing how the simple combo of spices transforms pork into something so delightful.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Pork ground
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Sage dried
  • 1/4 tsp Thyme dried
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Maple Syrup
Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine the ground pork with salt, sage, thyme, black pepper, garlic powder, and maple syrup.
  • Mix thoroughly to ensure the spices are evenly distributed.
  • Divide the pork mixture into 4 equal portions.
  • Pat each portion into a flat round shape, about 1/2 inch thick, to form the patties.
  • Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  • Once heated, add the sausage patties to the skillet.
  • Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 160°F and are nicely browned.
  • Always make sure the meat is cooked through.
  • Remove the cooked patties from the skillet and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb any excess grease.
  • Serve immediately while they’re still hot and juicy.
