Longhorn Raspberry Margarita Recipe

The vibrant mix of juicy raspberries, smooth tequila, and a splash of fresh lime makes this drink irresistible.
You can use either fresh or frozen raspberries depending on your preference, and a little orange liqueur can add a delightful citrus twist.
Experiment with the sweetness by mixing in a touch of simple syrup or agave if you like it on the sweeter side.
Don’t forget to give it a good shake until it’s ice-cold and ready to serve.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Raspberries fresh
  • 1 cup Tequila
  • 1/2 cup Triple Sec
  • 1/2 cup Lime Juice freshly squeezed
  • 1/4 cup Agave Syrup
  • Ice as needed
  • Salt or Sugar for rimming
  • Lime Wedges for garnish
Instructions

  • Rim the glass with lime juice, then dip into salt or sugar. You can choose your preference based on your taste.
  • Add fresh raspberries to a blender along with tequila, triple sec, lime juice, and agave syrup. Blend until smooth and well combined.
  • Use a fine mesh sieve to strain the mixture, removing any seeds from the raspberries. This ensures a smooth consistency.
  • Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice, then add the strained raspberry mixture. Shake well until the mixture is chilled.
  • Pour into your prepared glass, and garnish with a lime wedge for a bright, citrusy finish.
